If trading wasn't so crap at the moment it is capable of making circa 45k per run on Laranite if your patient enough to fill it. But it has excellent cargo space can take two ursa's or Ursa and ROC combo or tumbrils etc and has the same firepower of the other variants except misc. Now the max variant is the worst handling of the bunch and can only just handle planet gravity so you'll find yourself using boost a lot on microtech, hurston and Arccorp and it retains the same manouvering thrusters off the standard version so is one of the most sluggish handling ships. just drive straight in and set a keybind to open and close the ramp from the cockpit and despite what some claim the ROC fits in the freelancer just fine but you have to do it in external view and watch where your tyres may clip the sides. The DUR is also worth considering as it has a really good scanner for ROC use. The MIS has proved to be a good ship for the xenothreat event mind. Unfortunately until missiles get corrected (yet again) half your firepower will go after the decoys. My MIS though is a great ship I have it loaded out with cross section missiles and either the stock gatling guns or the attritions which are plain amusing in PVE. Segments: Retail, e-commerce, SaaS, entertainment, beauty, FMCG. Team building and Cross-functional team leadership. Data driven creative strategy and innovation. The other catch is the freelancers gimballed weapons seem to go cockeyed on occasion. Digital marketing, social media, comms strategy for B2C and B2B. I argue that they have a much better implementation of inertia and mass than the cutlass in other words you feel more like your flying a space ship than an oversized fighter in the cutlass. Not terrible but they do take a bit more getting used too. No freelancer handles anywhere near as well as the cutlass. Put it this way my cutlass virtually never gets flown now my I take my freelancers out a lot. The armament consists of a manned turret, two remote controlled turrets and four missile racks. It has a cargo bay that is accessible from the rear via a ramp. Is the Freelancer MIS just a flat out better daily driver than the Cutty, or is there something that Erkul just isn't telling me?Īs a MIS fan and freelancer fan I will always be bias. The Freelancer, the base model of the Freelancer variants, it is a medium-sized multi-crew freighter manufactured by Musashi Industrial & Starflight Concern. The only real thing the Cutty seems to have going for it is the better turret location and a slightly higher top speed. Two shield gens instead of one, gimbaled size 3 guns instead of fixed size 3s (I'm terrible with fixed guns), more missiles, almost the same cargo space, basically the same maneuverability in every category except for roll, enough room for a ROC, better crew amenities, and while it has a bit less HP overall it doesn't lose effectiveness in combat as quickly as the Cutlass since it doesn't have half its firepower on huge, fragile wings that get blown off almost immediately. However, I've been looking at the Freelancer MIS on Erkul and it looks like it just does everything the Cutlass can, but better. I own the pirate edition Cat and Gladius, but I don't take them out as much as the Cutlass. Įspecially made for the UEE military, designed for their front line operations. So, I currently own a Cutlass Black which I use for most of my gameplay. However, this has proven unpopular compared to the versatile Freelancer or the specialised Hull series. A final upgrade allows the fuel tanks to be swapped out altogether, to be replaced by a cargo chassis for goods transport. Another modification available to Starfarer pilots is the modification of the fuel tanks to become liquid foodstuff storage units. The safety and ease of use of these crafts have seen them become the standard for space refueling, with many being upgraded with refining mechanisms that can refine collected fuel, ready for use. This had lead to a pirate rule of thumb that "a ship caught refueling could be captured intact, as no captain would ever risk a firefight breaking out". Preceding this craft, the role was filled by a number of reverse-engineered and retrofitted craft, notorious for being dangerous and ineffective. The study concluded with the decision to produce a spacecraft capable of fuel collection, refining, storage and distribution to other ships in flight.
